Stephen Adams

Mr Adams is a hedge fund and private equity lawyer with nearly 15 years of offshore corporate law experience dealing with a full range of corporate matters including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investment funds, hedge funds, alternative investments and capital markets transactions.

Stephen is founding principal of ABM.  Prior to establishing ABM he was the Senior Corporate Partner of Walkers in the British Virgin Islands.  Stephen moved to the BVI from the Hong Kong office of Baker & McKenzie where he was a member of the firm’s international tax group.  Prior to that Stephen practiced in the Toronto office of a well known national Canadian firm and he has also served an appointment as clerk to the judges of the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa,

Stephen is admitted as a barrister and solicitor (Ontario and Newfoundland, Canada), a solicitor in the Untied Kingdom and Wales, and a solicitor in the British Virgin Islands.
